The City of Percé is looking for people to fill four (4) worker-operator positions (winter). The people chosen for these positions should be able to perform the following tasks:
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Drives a truck with snow removal equipment or heavy machinery (blower, grader, etc.);
- Performs snow removal and abrasive application;
- Use with care the equipment entrusted to him;
- Carry out safety checks and inspections before departure and during the journey;
- Perform work related to the maintenance of municipal properties;
- Complies with safety and traffic codes and / or regulations;
- Immediately report any anomaly to his superior;
- Complete the reports required by the employer;
- Performs various tasks relating to the maintenance of vehicles and machinery;
- Collaborates in the execution of various works falling within the competence of the public works department;
- Performs any other related task as needed by the team.
